Mean Girls Trailer Brings the Musical Version of the Beloved Teen Comedy to the Big Screen

The trailer for the Mean Girls musical movie has finally been officially released. The film is (deep breath) based on the stage musical of the same name, which was of course based on the film of the same name, which was based on the non-fiction book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman. Both film versions of Mean Girls, plus the book for the musical, have been written by Tina Fey, who also plays the supporting role of Ms. Norbury in both the 2004 outing and the upcoming musical version.
