True crime stories may be depressing, but they also remind the public that oftentimes you really don’t know some of the people you meet even if just in passing. Girl in the Picture recounts a jaw-dropping saga of multiple identities, kidnappings, incest, and murder, but each new revelation only leads to another mystery.
